Cajun Grace was founded in memory of Elmenia Grace, our mother and a devoted historian who cherished her Creole roots. Her mission was to preserve Cajun Grace, one of the region’s first Acadian-built homes. Today, we carry that mission forward by restoring the home to its original glory and opening it to the public as a museum that celebrates Acadian traditions, architecture, and community.
Our Vision
To preserve Cajun Grace as a living museum and cultural education center that tells the story of the Acadian people through immersive experiences, historical artifacts, and hands-on learning.
